Production Team Lead (Food Manufacturing)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business experiencing strong growth and investment. They’re seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to join their operations team and oversee evening shift production, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality across the line.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate production staff to meet daily output and quality targets

Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards

Quickly identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime

Train, coach, and develop team members, promoting high performance and accountability

Work collaboratively with Quality, Maintenance, and Despatch teams to maintain smooth operations

Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
About You:

Proven experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment

Strong leadership and people management skills

Excellent attention to detail and a focus on food safety and quality

Effective decision-making and problem-solving in a fast-paced production setting

Confident communicator who fosters teamwork and efficiency
Desirable:

Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives

IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Health & Safety qualification

Mechanical aptitude for resolving basic equipment issues
