NPD Technologist - Co. Cork
Our client is looking for a Permanent NPD Technologist to join their team, based in Co. Cavan. The successful candidate will join an integrated team of professionals, with a competitive salary of €30,000 - €40,000 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new products in line with regulatory, customer needs and company values
- Execute internal and external sensory testing with product recipes
- Organize the formulation of food products, process optimisation, new product introduction and documentation
- Regularly review the quality of products and manage the development of new products
- Create reasonably priced product recipes to meet consumer needs
- Supported in setting up quality system in the factories
- Maintain existing recipes and suggest product improvements
- Ensure products conform to regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Demonstratable experience as an NPD Technologist in a food/beverage/dairy product processing environment
- Excellent problem solving, communication and organisational skills
- Strong ability to research trends and assess customer needs
- Excellent IT skills
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP
