Process Engineer – Belfast
The Package
– £27,500 – £35,000 depending on experience

We’re working with a well-established engineering business operating across the water, waste, and environmental sectors. They’ve built a strong reputation for delivering innovative solutions across areas like drinking water treatment, effluent systems, and renewable energy projects.
They’re now looking to bring in a Process Engineer – ideal for someone early in their career who wants exposure to real projects and the chance to develop across chemical, biological, and process engineering.
The Role
You’ll be getting stuck into a wide mix of projects you’ll be involved from early-stage concept right through to commissioning.
You’ll be:
– Supporting delivery of projects across water, waste, and energy sectors
– Working directly with clients, providing technical input and guidance
– Assisting with process design, calculations, and performance analysis
– Troubleshooting issues on-site and contributing to root cause analysis
– Helping drive improvements across both existing operations and new initiatives
– Producing reports, data analysis, and project documentation
There’s a good balance here between office-based work and site exposure, so you’ll build proper, practical experience quickly.
About You
– Degree in Engineering or a Scientific discipline
– Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload
– Good communication skills – you’ll be dealing with clients
– Full driving licence
Desirable:
– Exposure to water/waste treatment or anaerobic digestion
– Interest in sustainability or environmental engineering
