Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

About Our Client:
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Cookstown, is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality throughout the production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Develop and implement process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Monitor production processes, collecting and analyzing data to identify areas for optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process inefficiencies or equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality, to ensure smooth process operations.
- Design and conduct trials for new processes, equipment, and materials to enhance production performance.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet production targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
