Production Manager
Location: County Tyrone
Salary: £50,000 + benefits
Talent Curve is proud to be partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturer to recruit a Production Manager. This is a key leadership appointment offering the opportunity to shape the future of a modern manufacturing facility while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and long-term business growth.
The Role
- Lead, mentor and develop the production team to improve productivity and performance.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects across the factory.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiencies and lower manufacturing costs.
- Oversee the introduction of automation and robotic welding technologies.
- Manage the specification and installation of new manufacturing equipment, including laser cutting capability and additional production technologies.
- Ensure all production activities meet Health & Safety standards while promoting a strong safety-first culture.
- Maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
- Monitor production performance, reporting on KPIs, costs, delivery, efficiency and operational improvements.
- Support workforce planning, including the recruitment and development of apprentices as part of the company's long-term growth strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience managing production within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing production teams.
- Experience delivering operational improvement and manufacturing efficiency projects.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and quality management systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Experience introducing automation or capital equipment projects would be highly advantageous.
