An established and highly respected Irish main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major pharmaceutical construction project in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the project from construction through to successful completion and handover.
- Leading site management teams, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
- Developing and monitoring project programmes, budgets, and resource plans.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Driving health, safety, environmental, and quality performance across the project.
- Identifying and managing project risks while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring commercial performance in collaboration with the commercial team.
- Providing regular progress updates to senior management and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.
- A strong track record delivering pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial, or other technically complex construction projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience.
- The ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and deliver results in demanding environments.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
