An industry-leading infrastructure contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering critical national projects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major power infrastructure project.
This is a senior role on a high-profile scheme involving complex electrical and civil works, offering the opportunity to work with an organisation known for technical excellence, safety leadership, and reliable project delivery.
The Role
- Full responsibility for the delivery of a large-scale power infrastructure project
- Managing programme, budget, resources, and subcontractors
- Coordinating civil, electrical, and utility works to ensure seamless delivery
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, designers, and stakeholders
- Driving health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Overseeing reporting, risk management, and commercial performance
- Leading and developing site teams including engineers, supervisors, and agents
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on power, utilities, or major infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of power infrastructure works (substations, cabling, ducting, civil interfaces, commissioning support)
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and subcontractors
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management ability
- Relevant qualification in engineering, construction management, or similar
- Full clean driving licence
