Project Manager (Fit-Out and/or Building Experience)

Overview
Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Project Managers with a specialisation in Fit-Out and/or Building Experience to join their dynamic project teams in Dublin. Their projects cover a wide range of commercial developments, typically valued between 5 - 10 million euros. They have a robust pipeline of work and are looking for candidates who are interested in long-term career growth within their organisation.
Reporting To: Contracts Manager
Purpose of Role
As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a critical role in achieving client satisfaction through effective project management and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and updating of the construction programme in collaboration with the Contracts Manager to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Assess and allocate the necessary staff resources for each project and ensure effective communication within the project team.
- Enforce the company's Safety System and foster a strong safety culture on-site.
- Oversee project quality throughout all phases to ensure adherence to high standards and client expectations.
- Manage and monitor project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and strict control of prelims and packages.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to meet financial targets and project budgets.
- Maintain robust and transparent communication with the client, providing regular updates on project status, risks, delays, and potential claims.
The Candidate
- Third level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of construction experience with structural and civil building work and/or experience working on fit-out projects/interiors.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver complex projects.
- Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
- Understanding of commercial realities and ability to propose cost-effective solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office, project management software (such as MS Project), and CDEs such as Procore, BIM 360, or similar.
