Project Manager (Mechanical) | Cork | €70,000–€80,000
Our client, a Cork-based mechanical contractor specialising in commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical projects, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
The Role
- Manage mechanical projects from tender stage through to handover and practical completion
- Oversee procurement, resourcing, and quality control across live projects
- Coordinate design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical clients
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage programme, budget, and commercial performance across your project portfolio
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and site-specific safety plans
- Support delivery across both new-build projects and ongoing facilities management contracts
The Candidate
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within mechanical/M&E contracting
- Trade background or degree/qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline
- Experience across commercial, industrial, or pharmaceutical sectors an advantage
- Strong commercial and programme management skills
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Full clean driving licence
