Position Overview:

Are you a seasoned Construction Project Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding educational projects? We're seeking a dynamic individual to lead a project in Ennis, County Clare. As the Construction Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the project from concept to completion, ensuring every detail aligns with high standards and client expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee all phases of construction, from site preparation to final inspection, with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration and trust.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Lead by example, inspiring your team to uphold our values of integrity, professionalism, and excellence in all interactions.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimise waste.
  • Implement innovative solutions to overcome logistical challenges and maintain project momentum in a dynamic construction environment.
  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate their impact on project timelines and budgetary targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards, prioritizing the well-being of our team and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and address any deviations from project plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success as a Construction Project Manager, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Expertise in educational construction projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with a proactive approach to conflict resolution and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a knack for leveraging technology to drive project efficiency and innovation.
