Job Title: Construction Project Manager

A reputable construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across Roscommon and surrounding areas. Currently seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join and oversee our diverse portfolio of construction projects.

 

Position Overview:

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Oversee all aspects of construction activities, including site preparation, construction progress, and quality control.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
  • Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and procurement of materials and services.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues or changes.
  • Resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project, maintaining positive relationships with all parties involved.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Prepare and submit project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final close-out documents.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably in commercial or residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
  • Leadership abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
