An established main contractor specialising in delivering high-quality construction projects across Ireland. As they continue to expand operations, we are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join in Kildare and contribute to the companys’ ongoing success.

 

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction an educational project in Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in Kildare, with a primary focus on a school project.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for assigned projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a successful track record of managing large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and building codes.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
