Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager or senior site manager looking to make the step into project management to lead a major factory/warehouse development project in North Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale industrial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage the project team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
- Monitor project expenditure and ensure costs are kept within the agreed budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Address any issues or delays that arise, implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, reports, and change orders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not essential
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with significant experience in industrial projects such as factories or warehouses.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management and construction safety (e.g., PMP, CIF Site Safety Management, SMSTS, CSCS).
Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction management tools.
- Deep understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
