Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client for a prestigious 5-storey apartment project located in the heart of Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project from initiation to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and oversee detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, tailored to the complexities of urban residential construction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet project goals.
  • Execution: Oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures to ensure that construction meets the highest standards, particularly in the context of high-density urban housing.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues immediately to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and local authorities, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets closely, manage costs effectively, and ensure financial performance aligns with project targets.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients, detailing key milestones, financial status, and any emerging risks or issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong background in residential developments, particularly in urban settings.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex, multi-storey residential projects
  • Strong understanding of urban construction challenges and solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
