Position: Project Manager
Location: Foley Street, Dublin
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Reports to: Contracts Manager
Compensation: Competitive salary & benefits package
Role Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the effective management of key construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will take ownership of overseeing multiple sites and managing the full project life cycle, from initial planning to final handover, ensuring adherence to health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead the project team, ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and performance goals.
- Oversee daily operations on-site, managing subcontractors, engineers, and operational staff.
- Produce and review weekly reports on project progress, identifying and resolving any potential issues.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved and that work is completed to the highest standards.
- Work closely with the commercial team to manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across all aspects of the project.
- Conduct regular management meetings, addressing project risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the project from inception to completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

- Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent commercial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Resourceful and solution-oriented when addressing complex project challenges.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes and project management tools.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A trade qualification or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Relevant project management certifications or training in the construction industry.
- A commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
