Project Manager – Apartment Development
Location: Bray, Ireland
Salary: €80,000 - €90,000 per annum
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a high-profile apartment development project in Bray. This pivotal role will require the successful candidate to manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders, contractors, and the project team to ensure smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and execution of the apartment development project, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Oversee the construction process, from pre-construction to final delivery, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards.
• Develop and manage the project schedule, setting clear milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare and manage the project budget, tracking costs and adjusting as necessary.
• Coordinate and liaise with various contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental standards are strictly adhered to throughout the project.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure the project is on track.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Oversee project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Lead and motivate the project team, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, solving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Key Requirements:
• A proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, ideally within the residential sector.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management software, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules, with a strong focus on cost control and time management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the construction industry.
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
