Location: Dublin 9, Ireland
Salary: €80,000 - €90,000 per annum

Overview:

Our client, a leading Tier 1 Irish construction contractor, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager for a prestigious apartment project located in Dublin 9. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing the construction of a complex building with in-situ concrete and precast structure. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing large-scale residential projects, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery & Oversight: Take overall responsibility for the project’s delivery, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Managing Construction Processes: Oversee the construction processes, including the in-situ concrete and precast structure, ensuring work is carried out in compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and best practices.

  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and coordinate the project team, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment, managing multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth operations on-site.

  • Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resources. Identify potential issues and implement solutions to keep the project on track.

  • Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work adheres to quality standards and complies with relevant safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders. Maintain regular communication to ensure alignment with the project’s goals and objectives.

  • Problem Solving: Address any challenges or issues that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to the schedule and overall progress.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, including progress reports, risk assessments, and any changes to the project plan.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale residential projects.

  • Specialist Knowledge: Strong knowledge of in-situ concrete and precast structures, as well as familiarity with all construction stages, from design to completion.

  • Project Management Skills: Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and contracts. Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Health & Safety: Comprehensive knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a commitment to creating a safe working environment on-site.
