Job Title: Project Manager – Ceilings/Partitions/Drylining (Data Centres)
Location: Amsterdam (EU travel as required)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: €90,000 – €100,000 + performance bonus
Benefits: Accommodation and monthly flights provided (if required) + expenses + benefits
A leading interiors contractor delivering complex data centre fit-outs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ceilings, partitions, and drylining packages on hyperscale campuses in Amsterdam. You’ll drive programme, quality, safety, and commercial performance from pre-construction through handover across fast-track environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver multiple workfaces/packages (drylining, MF ceilings, firestopping, partitions) to programme and budget.
- Lead site teams (engineers, supervisors, QA) and manage specialist subcontractors and labour.
- Run short-interval planning, look-aheads, and constraint removal; coordinate interfaces with MEP, structure, clean/build, and commissioning.
- Own H&S compliance (RAMS, permits to work, inductions, audits, toolbox talks) to Tier-1/DC standards.
- Maintain rigorous QA/ITP processes: sample/benchmark control, hold points, sign-offs, snag/close-out and O&M documentation.
- Drive procurement schedules, material call-offs, logistics and just-in-time deliveries; manage long-lead items.
- Chair progress meetings; manage RFIs, technical submittals, design coordination and change control.
- Track costs, valuations, and variations with the commercial team; protect margin and report KPIs.
- Ensure trade readiness for rooms/areas, support integrated systems testing and staged handovers.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in fit-out/interiors with a strong track record in ceilings/partitions/drylining; data centre or pharma/mission-critical experience highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of fire stopping/compartmentation, acoustic performance, and clean-build protocols.
- Proven ability to run fast-track, high-spec packages to Tier-1 client standards.
- Strong planning and leadership skills; confident with drawings, specs and coordination.
- Proficient with MS Project/Primavera, Excel, and digital QA/snagging tools.
- Familiar with EU H&S regulations; ability to work in the Netherlands (visa/work rights support can be discussed).
- Full clean driving licence; willingness to travel/rotate if needed.
What’s on Offer
- €90,000 – €100,000 base + discretionary bonus.
- Accommodation in Amsterdam and monthly flights (if required).
- Backing of an experienced specialist team with a robust DC pipeline.
- Clear progression on landmark European projects.
