A well-established and highly regarded construction contractor based in Cork is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a 20-unit housing development along with associated restoration works.
With a strong reputation built over many years delivering high-quality residential and refurbishment projects across Munster, this contractor is known for its attention to detail, collaborative approach, and ability to successfully deliver projects from concept through to completion. Due to a growing pipeline of work, they are now looking to strengthen their management team with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of the project, from pre-construction through to handover
- Oversee the delivery of a 20-unit residential development alongside restoration works
- Coordinate the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants
- Monitor programme, budgets, and project performance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports and project updates
- Identify and resolve technical and commercial issues during the construction process
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on residential construction projects
- Experience managing housing developments or mixed new-build/restoration projects is desirable
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain programme targets
- Relevant construction qualification preferred
