We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a highly regarded and well-established construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects across Ireland and Europe. Known for excellence in execution and a collaborative approach, this organisation has built a solid track record within the building and fitout sectors, particularly on technically demanding developments.
The Role
This is a key position overseeing the successful delivery of a major life sciences project in Cork. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project
- Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within construction
- Proven experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor preferred
- Strong background in the building and fitout sector
- Experience delivering life sciences or similar high-spec projects is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
