Project: Education project, starting in June (3 year duration)

Salary: up to €100,000+package

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our clients large-scale construction project in Drogheda, County Louth. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex operations from initial planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing and managing contractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts efficiently to maintain project momentum.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years’ experience managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish construction regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
