An established and highly respected Irish contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality design & build projects is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a major student accommodation development in Dublin city centre.

The Project
This is a full design & build student accommodation scheme located on Dublin city centre, involving construction from basement and ground level through to completion.
The successful candidate will play a key role from early-stage site mobilisation through to handover, helping establish site operations from day one and driving programme delivery throughout the build.
The Role
This role would suit a hands-on Project Manager who is open to new ideas, proactive in their approach, and confident in managing both site teams and client relationships.
You will be expected to lead from the front, confidently hold your own in client meetings, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities includes:
- Take full responsibility for project delivery from site setup through to completion
- Manage day-to-day operations on a major student accommodation project
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, consultants, and suppliers
- Lead programme delivery, quality, and health & safety standards on site
- Chair and attend client, subcontractor, and progress meetings
- Ensure project milestones are achieved safely, on time, and within budget
- Work closely with the commercial and design teams on a full D&B project
- Oversee site establishment and logistics from an early-stage site environment
- Apply practical setting out knowledge to support site setup, temporary works, and logistics planning
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on large construction projects
- Strong background in design & build delivery
- Previous experience on residential, student accommodation, or mixed-use projects desirable
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with confidence in meetings
- Practical understanding of setting out and early-stage site mobilisation essential
- Ability to lead teams and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Open-minded, proactive, and commercially aware approach to project delivery
