A well-established and highly respected residential construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team, overseeing a range of residential projects across North Leinster.

With a strong pipeline of projects underway and further developments planned, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join an established business and take responsibility for the successful delivery of high-quality residential schemes.

 

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the delivery of residential projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

Working closely with the senior management team, Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of residential projects.
  • Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
  • Planning, programming and coordinating construction activities.
  • Managing project budgets, costs and commercial performance.
  • Coordinating Site Management teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Monitoring progress against programme and implementing corrective action where required.
  • Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and building regulations.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the construction process.
  • Managing project documentation, reporting and records.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Liaising with clients, design teams, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with company health & safety policies and statutory requirements.
  • Driving a positive culture of quality, safety, accountability and continuous improvement across each project.

 

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • 5+ years' experience in a Project Manager or Senior Site Management position within residential construction.
  • Proven experience delivering residential developments from commencement through to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and building regulations.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and large project teams.
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage programmes, budgets and resources effectively.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • A relevant construction, engineering or project management qualification.
  • A full driving licence and flexibility to travel across North Leinster.
