A leading construction contractor is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a major project in Cork.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
You will lead the project team and work closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project.
- Lead and manage the project team, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and delivery plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, costs, quality and programme performance.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, drawings and specifications.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and potential delays.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with company and statutory Health & Safety requirements.
- Lead regular site and project meetings.
- Monitor procurement and commercial performance.
- Ensure project documentation and reporting requirements are maintained.
- Drive quality standards and ensure successful project handover.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
- Strong track record of successfully delivering construction projects from inception through to completion.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, project planning and programme management.
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and project teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and quality requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against demanding programmes.
- Relevant construction, engineering or project management qualification is desirable.
