Fit-Out Project Manager
Location: Dublin, Ireland
About the Role:
On behalf of a highly active main contractor, we are seeking an experienced and organized Fit-Out Project Manager to manage office fit-out projects in Dublin. This contractor is well-established in the Irish construction industry, known for their quality standards and ability to meet tight schedules on a range of high-profile interior projects.
The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, particularly in office fit outs, and be adept at leading projects from planning through to final handover, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and in line with the client’s specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, controlling costs while ensuring financial efficiency.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in all work delivered.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparent and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and manage fit-out teams, including site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure everyone aligns with the project plan.
- Coordinate and sequence trades and subcontractors, keeping the project on schedule and on track for timely completion.
- Work closely with architects, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Track and report on project progress, proactively addressing challenges to avoid delays.
- Identify and address issues as they arise, implementing solutions to keep the project moving forward smoothly.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the fit-out sector, with a proven track record on office fit-out projects.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and industry tools.
- Strong understanding of office fit-out construction methods, materials, and design elements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Capable of managing on-site teams to maintain productivity and ensure quality delivery.
- Commitment to quality work with a high level of detail orientation.
- Valid Safe Pass and relevant health and safety certifications.
