PV Electrician - Location: Cork/Munster Area

Job Type / Category:

  • PV System Installation and Maintenance
  • Perform electrical work related to photovoltaic (PV) systems, including solar panel installation, wiring, and testing
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the installation process
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of PV systems
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair PV systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Perform electrical wiring, connections, and testing to ensure the safe and efficient operation of PV systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with PV systems, including identifying and resolving electrical faults
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients to schedule installations and maintenance activities
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Electrician
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and regulations, particularly related to PV systems
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel within the Cork/Munster area as required.
  • QC Registered & SEAI Registered
