Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 per annum

About the Role:
We are currently assisting a leading food production company in County Kilkenny in their search for a dedicated Quality Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality management initiatives specific to the food production industry and ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust quality management systems tailored to food production to meet regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations.
- Lead quality control processes, including inspections, audits, and testing procedures, to maintain product integrity and safety.
- Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancement in food production processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team to ensure adherence to food safety standards and quality protocols.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, operations, and regulatory teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in a Quality Manager role within the food production industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management principles, and HACCP principles.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.
