Quantity Surveyor | Dublin | €80,000
Our client, a leading mechanical contractor delivering projects across Dublin, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Role
- Take full commercial ownership of mechanical/M&E packages from tender through to final account
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender submissions for mechanical projects
- Measure and value mechanical works, agreeing valuations and payment applications with clients/main contractors
- Manage and agree subcontractor accounts and packages
- Negotiate and agree variations, claims, and final accounts
- Oversee procurement of mechanical subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage commercial risk and profitability across your project portfolio
- Mentor and support junior QS staff
- Report on commercial performance to senior management
The Candidate
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within mechanical/M&E contracting, ideally at Senior QS level
- Strong knowledge of measurement, cost control, and contract administration
- Proven track record managing the full commercial function on projects
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Full clean driving licence
