Job title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Co. Cork.
Salary: €55,000 - €70,000
Talent-Curve Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a Top 20 Irish main contractor in the Cork area who are seeking highly talented Quantity Surveyors to join their diverse and highly specialised team in Cork.
Client has delivered reputable projects across multiple sectors including pharmaceutical, commercial and healthcare.
With a reputation for delivering and exceeding project standards to an array of clients throughout the Irish construction market with a strong pipeline of work in the upcoming years, this opportunity is not one to be missed.
The role:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets and tender documents.
- Tracking project costs and provide regular financial updates.
- Liaise with contractors to ensure compliance and clear understanding of project specifications.
- Working both independently and amongst a highly supportive commercial team / multi-disciplinary business teams and site management to ensure smooth running of projects
- Ability to negotiate material prices with vendors, suppliers and contractors etc to reduce costs.
- Identify, Monitor, Mitigate and Manage any commercial risks.
The ideal candidate:
- University degree in Quantity Surveying or related courses.
- Industry Certifications are advantageous.
- Previous experience in Pharma construction is desirable but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide regular project updates.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines whilst maintaining high standards.
