Refrigeration Engineer
Northern Ireland – Field Based
We’re working with a well-established, locally respected engineering business that supports a wide range of commercial clients across NI. They’re growing and looking to bring in a Refrigeration Engineer to strengthen their field team.
This is a hands-on role covering installation, service, maintenance and reactive repairs across a variety of equipment including ice machines, cold rooms and upright refrigeration units.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
– Installation and commissioning of refrigeration equipment
– Service, fault finding and reactive breakdown repairs
– Preventative maintenance across commercial sites
– Working independently in the field while staying connected to the wider team
– Using tablet / mobile systems for job reporting
This is a customer-facing position, so clear communication and professionalism are key.
What They’re Looking For
– Experience as a Commercial Catering Engineer, Service Engineer or Refrigeration Engineer
– Strong background in service, repair and reactive maintenance
– F-Gas qualified (essential)
– City & Guilds in Refrigeration (essential)
– NVQ / electrical qualifications desirable
– Full, clean driving licence
You’ll need to be physically capable of manual handling as part of the role.
