Talent Curve Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established refrigeration and HVAC company in the Dublin area to find a Refrigeration Engineer to join their team
Salary: €50,000 - €60,000+ DOE — Open to All Levels
The Role
This role covers installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding on refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites. Open to all levels — from qualified engineers building experience through to senior engineers ready to take on more complex and higher-value contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain refrigeration systems and associated plant
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on-site
- Respond to planned maintenance schedules and reactive callouts
- Work with refrigerants in line with F-Gas regulations
- Read and work from technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation
- Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure minimal downtime
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- For more senior candidates: lead on larger installations and mentor junior engineers
What You'll Need
- FETAC/QQI Level 6 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- Proven experience in refrigeration installation, service, or maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and schematics
- Full clean driving licence
- Safe Pass an advantage
