About Our Client:
Our client, a leading mechanical contractor in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves taking a leadership position in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems, with a particular focus on pre-construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Oversee and manage pre-construction activities, including feasibility studies, cost estimation, and project planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and project managers, to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Conduct technical analysis and provide input on mechanical systems during the pre-construction phase.
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software.
- Perform site inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a focus on pre-construction activities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
