Senior Mechanical Engineer
An established M&E consultancy is seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the continued success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Design: Develop innovative and efficient mechanical designs for various projects, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection.

Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical advice, and ensure client satisfaction.

Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering their professional development and growth.
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience: Extensive experience in mechanical engineering within the building services industry, including HVAC design and project management.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Chartered Engineer status is desirable.

Technical Skills: Proficient in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design software.

Knowledge: Sound knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including CIBSE guidelines and British Standards.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients and team members.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing engineering challenges.
