About the Role:

An established tier one contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-density residential and commercial developments in the Dublin region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Construction Director, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile developments with a company committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Act as the main point of contact between the client and the project team, maintaining open and effective communication throughout the project
  • Lead, coach, and direct site staff and subcontractors to meet project goals and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate day-to-day site operations, overseeing productivity, progress, and performance
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, troubleshoot project issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, consultants, and project partners
  • Capture key project insights and contribute to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

 

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior project management role, with a strong track record of delivering high-density residential or commercial projects
  • Deep understanding of contractual obligations and ability to interpret and manage contract documentation
  • Proven commercial acumen and strong cost control experience
  • Proficiency in project planning and scheduling, with experience using tools such as MS Project or Powerproject
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant construction software applications
