An established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong fit-out background to join a high-performing project team in Dublin.
This is an opportunity to work on large, complex and high-profile projects for blue-chip clients within a stimulating and technically demanding construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master construction programme alongside the Contracts Manager, ensuring key project milestones are achieved.
- Determine project staffing requirements and communicate effectively with the wider project team.
- Implement the company's safety systems and establish a strong safety culture across the project.
- Manage project quality throughout the lifecycle, ensuring build quality consistently meets expectations.
- Control project costs, including preliminaries and package expenditure.
- Work closely with the commercial team to achieve agreed commercial objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with the client team through effective project controls and reporting.
- Provide clear visibility of operational and commercial risks, delays and potential claims.
- Coordinate project delivery to ensure key risks and issues are identified and managed proactively.
You will ideally have:
- A third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' construction experience.
- A strong fit-out background, with experience delivering large and complex construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and successfully deliver complex projects.
- Strong technical and commercial awareness.
- Excellent numeracy and report-writing skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- The ability to identify cost-effective solutions while understanding commercial realities.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Project and Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Procore.
