We are recruiting an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a high-performing construction team delivering major projects in the Netherlands.
Our client is an established international construction contractor specialising in critical environments, including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing and Critical Logistics. The business works with leading blue-chip clients on high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master construction programme, working closely with the Contracts Manager.
- Manage project resources and ensure effective communication across the project team.
- Implement the company's Health & Safety systems and promote a strong safety culture.
- Manage project quality throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Control project costs, preliminaries and work packages.
- Work closely with the commercial team to achieve agreed commercial objectives.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective project controls and reporting.
- Monitor and communicate operational and commercial risks, including delays and potential claims.
- Lead the project team to achieve key milestones, programme and delivery objectives.
About You
- Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' construction experience.
- Strong track record delivering large, complex construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and successfully deliver complex projects.
- Proficient with MS Project and CDE platforms such as Procore.
- Strong numerical, analytical and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective project teams and relationships.
- Strong understanding of commercial project management and cost-effective delivery.
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and developing practical solutions.
