Senior Quantity Surveyor – Mayo
Salary: €80,000+ (DOE) + Benefits
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor delivering education and residential projects exclusively in Mayo.
This role will involve overseeing the commercial management of major education developments alongside residential projects, offering long-term, secure work with a strong pipeline of local projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Preparation and management of cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Cost reporting to senior management
- Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- 7+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role (main contractor experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of building contracts and cost control
- Experience working on education and/or residential projects is an advantage
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
