Senior Site Engineer
Location: North Dublin
Salary: €80-85K + Package
With our client you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented and experienced professionals in the industry, and to be a part of a dynamic and innovative organization that is dedicated to delivering the highest quality projects.
They are currently seeking an experience engineer with residential experience for a prestigious project in North Dublin. The first phase of construction will consist of over 350 homes due to be completed later this year.
Duties:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations on a designated construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, budget, and safety regulations.
- Interpret and implement complex engineering designs and specifications, proactively identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain meticulous site documentation, including plans, drawings, and quality control records.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, effectively communicating with supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce.
- Champion health and safety on site, conducting regular inspections, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring all personnel adhere to safety protocols.
- Drive the implementation of BCAR (Building Control Approved Regulations) on site, collaborating with relevant authorities for smooth project completion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering (or a closely related field).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated proficiency in setting out techniques, utilizing tools like AutoCAD, Total Station, and GPS.
- In-depth understanding of current building regulations and certification standards (e.g., BCAR).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions.
