Salary: up to €85,000 + package (DOE)
A leading Irish developer with a strong track record delivering large-scale residential schemes across Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a major apartment development in North Dublin.
This developer is known for high-quality projects, long-term community investment, and delivering large multi-unit residential schemes to the highest standards. Due to continued growth, they are now hiring a technically strong and proactive Senior Site Engineer to support the successful delivery of this flagship project.
Role Overview
As Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing engineering elements of the project—from setting out and quality control to coordination with contractors and ensuring smooth daily site operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with substantial residential experience to step into a long-term role with a reputable and stable developer.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee setting out, engineering control and quality assurance for all site works
- Coordinate subcontractors, site activities and technical queries
- Review drawings, specifications and ensure compliance across all works
- Maintain accurate records including as-builts, QA checks and daily reporting
- Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with programme delivery
- Ensure health & safety standards are consistently upheld
- Assist in problem-solving and resolution of onsite technical issues
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer
- Proven background working on large-scale residential or apartment schemes
- Strong setting out and technical skills
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage engineering documentation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Full right to work in Ireland
