Job Title: Senior Site Engineer

An established Tier one contractor, specialising in residential projects is currently recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to join a large-scale housing development based in Swords, Co. Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation delivering high-quality homes as part of one of Ireland’s most active residential programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Interpret and implement contract design documents
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site supervisors, quantity surveyors, and planners
- Perform setting out using Total Station, GPS, and other instruments
- Supervise and monitor subcontractor works for quality and compliance
- Track progress and report to the Package Manager, escalating issues as required
- Provide technical solutions to on-site issues and coordinate quality control and BCAR compliance
- Ensure adherence to all planning, health, safety, and environmental standards
- Produce and contribute to weekly/monthly progress reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake additional site-related tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer with a reputable contractor or developer
- Strong setting-out experience (Total Station, GPS)
- Full clean manual driver’s licence
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
