We are recruiting an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a high-performing construction team delivering major projects in the Netherlands.

Our client is an established international construction contractor specialising in critical environments, including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing and Critical Logistics. The business works with leading blue-chip clients on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Plan, sequence and execute works in line with contract documents and project programmes.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality and client service.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with minimal defects or rework.
• Manage relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Monitor progress and provide accurate reporting on risks, programme and key issues.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential programme and delivery delays.
• Work closely with the Project QS and wider project team on commercial, programme and delivery matters.
• Ensure client expectations are met while maintaining professional and collaborative working relationships.

About You

• Extensive construction experience with a strong background in site management and large, complex projects.
• Proven experience leading and managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction delivery, sequencing and project programmes.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety, quality, cost and programme requirements.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and reporting skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
• Confident decision-maker with sound judgement and the ability to work under pressure.
• Commercially aware, with an understanding of project costs, risks, programme and market conditions.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to lead and motivate project teams.
