Senior Engineer (Structural)

Job Description: Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Engineer (Structural) to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and implementation of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct structural analysis and design calculations using relevant software and tools.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Review and approve design documents, drawings, and construction plans.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Chartered Engineer status.
- Member of IStructE (Institution of Structural Engineers) with 5+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
