An excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing business covering customer sites across the Republic of Ireland.
This role would suit a Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Technician or Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for strong overtime opportunities, autonomy in their role and long-term career progression.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites nationwide.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair equipment on customer sites
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown response
- Installation and commissioning work
- Travel across ROI as part of a field-based role
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Provide a high level of customer support
Candidate Requirements
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Fitter or Electrical Technician
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
- Fault-finding experience
- Ability to work independently
- Full driving licence
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
Desirable Experience
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Motors, gearboxes and conveyors
- PLC fault finding
- Welding/fabrication experience
- Mechanical trade or electrical qualification
