Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

About Our Client:
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Lisburn, is seeking an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting equipment to ensure continuous production operations during shift hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with production teams to support operational goals and ensure smooth running of machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they cause disruptions.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to execute continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including reports of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and ensure quick resolution to prevent production delays.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team during shift hours.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
