Position: Shift Maintenance Fitter
Location: Co. Kildare
Salary: €55,000 - €60,000+ per annum
About the Role:
Our client, a reputable company in Kildare, is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Fitter to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your maintenance expertise in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement appropriate solutions to ensure continuous operation.
- Install, align, and maintain mechanical systems, components, and machinery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support operational objectives.
- Document maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to mechanical standards and regulations.
