Job Title: Site Engineer (Signature Project in Carlow)

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer (Junior – intermediate) to join our client’s team on a high-profile community hub project in Carlow. This landmark development is at the early construction phase, offering the successful candidate a unique opportunity to be involved from the ground up in a project that will serve as a central point for community life in the area.
This role is ideal for a Site Engineer looking to step up and grow their experience on a complex, meaningful build under the guidance of an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager and Senior Engineers with setting out and surveying.
- Ensure works are carried out according to plans, specifications, and building regulations.
- Assist with quality control, health and safety, and subcontractor coordination.
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
- Liaise with design teams and contribute to technical resolutions on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 1–5 years’ experience in a Site Engineering role (previous experience with RC frames, groundworks, or public buildings is a plus).
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in setting out and use of instruments (e.g., total station, GPS).
- Clear communication and teamwork abilities.
