Job Overview:

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of significant construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute their expertise to construction projects in Galway City.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Conduct accurate surveys and set out precise locations according to design specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance to subcontractors based on survey data.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure construction standards are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections, identify deviations, and address issues promptly.
  • Provide technical support to the project team, interpreting drawings and specifications as needed.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor.
  • Familiarity with construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
