We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer to join in South Dublin.

 

Job Summary

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the construction activities on residential projects in South Dublin. You will ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately set out and level the site using surveying equipment, ensuring that all structures are positioned correctly according to the project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring construction work meets design specifications and industry standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to on-site teams, addressing and resolving engineering-related issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement construction plans, considering project specifications and timelines.
  • Enforce and adhere to health and safety regulations on-site, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including as-built drawings, survey data, and other relevant documentation.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination of construction activities

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in the use of surveying instruments and AutoCAD.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer.
