Job Description:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the construction management team with the on-site coordination and supervision of building elements. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the successful completion of projects. The primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Setting Out & Levelling: Perform accurate setting out and levelling activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality control, including concrete quality assessments through cube sampling and slump testing.
- Dimensional Checks: Conduct thorough checks on shuttering, steel reinforcements, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours. Maintain detailed materials reconciliation records.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of all site activities, including daily site diaries, and ensure timely uploading of materials to the Document Management System (DMS).
- Supervision: Oversee the work of directly employed and subcontractor personnel engaged in various aspects of the construction project.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to the company's health and safety policies, environmental standards, quality controls, and other on-site procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Candidates must possess relevant Engineering Qualifications.
- Experience: A minimum of two to three years' work experience with a building contractor is essential.
- Skills: Excellent IT skills and a strong working knowledge of surveying instruments and equipment are required.
