Job Title: Site Engineer (Large Residential Projects)

Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting a talented and motivated Site Engineer on behalf of our client for large-scale residential projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that engineering aspects of the projects are executed with precision, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Oversight: Supervise and manage all site engineering activities, ensuring strict adherence to technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Surveying & Setting Out: Perform accurate site surveys and setting out tasks using advanced surveying equipment, ensuring all works are aligned with project plans.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring that construction meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and material usage.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
  • Coordination: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and resolve any on-site technical issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address any technical or engineering challenges on-site, ensuring timely solutions to avoid project delays.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with a focus on large residential projects.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in surveying equipment and CAD software
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and residential construction techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
